Privacy Policy

MakeYourMock is designed to require minimal personal information.

For Team Builder predictions: No account is required. We store your submitted name (which you choose), your picks, and the timestamp of your submission alongside a team and sport identifier.

For leagues: We store the league name, sport, optional password hash, scoring settings, and the names and picks of all participants. No email address or personal account is required to join a league.

Usage data: We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This is used solely for debugging and improving the platform. We do not sell this data.

We use the information we collect to:

Operate and improve the platform, including calculating scores after official drafts and displaying leaderboards. Display your submitted name on public leaderboards associated with your picks. Respond to messages sent through our Contact form. Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve performance.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it outside of what is necessary to operate MakeYourMock.

MakeYourMock uses Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database service, to store leagues and submitted picks. Data is stored on servers located in the United States. Supabase maintains industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

Static prospect and team data is stored as JSON files and does not involve personal information.

League and submission data is retained indefinitely so that historical leaderboards remain accessible after drafts are scored. If you would like your submission or league deleted, contact us at hello@makeyourmock.com with the relevant league ID or submission details and we will process your request within 30 days.

MakeYourMock uses Vercel for hosting and deployment. Vercel may log request metadata as part of standard infrastructure operation. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may integrate analytics tools in the future. This policy will be updated before any such integration goes live.

MakeYourMock is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through our platform, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, request deletion of your submission or league data, and opt out of any future communications from us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of MakeYourMock after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
